Two more cases of COVID-19 confirmed in Nodaway County


MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Nodaway County Health Department has confirmed two more cases of COVID-19 in the county. The latest patients are a man in his 50s and a woman in her 40s.

This now brings the total number of cases in the county up to 641. Of those 641, 166 are still active. Northwest Missouri State University says 71 of those active cases involve Northwest students or employees.

So far during the pandemic, 17 people have been hospitalized and five people are still currently hospitalized. Health officials continue to strongly urge residents to social distance and practice good hygiene.
